Shipping policy

At Ginlerie, we believe the experience of receiving your order should feel just as good as placing it. We have built our shipping process around transparency, reliability, and keeping you informed every step of the way. Please read the following policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect after placing your order.


Order Processing

All orders placed at Ginlerie are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. In most cases, your order will be ready for dispatch within 1 business day.

Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST (Monday – Saturday) are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will begin processing the following business day.

Our dispatch days are Monday through Saturday. Orders placed on a Sunday will be processed that day but will not be dispatched until Monday. Orders placed on public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to follow your shipment in real time.

Please note: Your estimated delivery window begins from the date your order is dispatched, not the date it was placed. Please account for processing time when estimating your arrival date.


Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to the following countries and regions:

  • United States (excluding Hawaii)

  • Canada

  • United Kingdom

We do not currently ship to any other regions. If you are located outside of these destinations and would like to place an order, please contact us at support@ginlerie.com and we will do our best to assist.


Shipping Methods & Rates

We offer two shipping options at checkout — Standard Shipping (always free) and Express Shipping for customers who prefer a faster delivery window.

United States & Canada

Standard Shipping — Free — 7–14 business days
Express Shipping — $5.95 USD — 4–9 business days

United Kingdom

Standard Shipping — Free — 7–12 business days
Express Shipping — $5.95 USD — 4–8 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary based on your specific location, customs processing, carrier availability, and peak periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. Orders containing multiple items may be shipped in separate packages, each with their own tracking number.


Order Tracking

Every order placed at Ginlerie ships with a tracking number included — free of charge. We believe you should always know where your order is, without having to chase us for updates.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automated email with your unique tracking number and a direct link to monitor your shipment. Tracking information may take up to 24–48 hours to update in the system after dispatch — this is normal and expected.

If your tracking information has not updated within 5 business days of your dispatch confirmation, or if you did not receive a tracking email at all, please take the following steps:

  • Check your spam or junk mail folder

  • Verify the email address you entered at checkout

  • Contact our support team at support@ginlerie.com with your order number and we will locate your shipment immediately


Import Duties & Customs Fees

Ginlerie works with a trusted international carrier that manages the customs clearance process on your behalf. In the vast majority of cases, you will not be charged any additional import duties or taxes upon delivery — our carrier handles this as part of the standard shipping process.

However, in rare instances, local customs authorities may independently impose import charges. These charges are entirely outside of Ginlerie's control and, if applied, are the sole financial responsibility of the customer. Ginlerie is unable to predict, cover, or reimburse third-party customs fees.

United States: Most orders under $800 USD are not subject to import duties under the US de minimis threshold. However, this is not guaranteed for all shipments. Sales tax may apply depending on your state and will be calculated at checkout where applicable.

Canada: Canadian customers may be subject to GST/HST and applicable provincial taxes upon delivery, assessed by the Canada Border Services Agency.

United Kingdom: UK orders may be subject to UK VAT and import duties assessed by His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). The courier may also assess handling fees upon delivery. We recommend reviewing the UK Government's customs guidelines before placing your order if you have concerns.

Ginlerie is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, as these are managed entirely by local authorities and are beyond our control.


Shipping Delays

While we do everything possible to dispatch orders promptly and meet the delivery windows listed above, delays can occasionally occur for reasons outside our control, including:

  • High-volume shopping periods (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and sale events)

  • Customs inspections or extended processing at the destination country

  • Carrier disruptions, severe weather events, or unforeseen logistical issues

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address entered at checkout

  • Failed delivery attempts due to the recipient being unavailable

If your order has not arrived within 30 days of your dispatch confirmation email, please contact us at support@ginlerie.com and we will immediately open an investigation with our carrier on your behalf.


Order Modifications & Cancellations

You may request a modification or cancellation of your order within 24 hours of placement by contacting our support team at support@ginlerie.com or via SMS at +44 2037696963 (SMS only — no voice calls).

Once an order enters processing — typically after 24 hours — it can no longer be modified or cancelled. If your order is already being processed, we reserve the right to decline the cancellation request. In this case, please allow your order to be delivered and make use of our return policy.


Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please take a moment to review your shipping address carefully before completing your order. Ginlerie is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout.

If you notice an error in your shipping address immediately after placing your order, please contact us at support@ginlerie.com as quickly as possible. We will make every effort to update your address before dispatch. Once a package has been collected by our carrier, address changes can no longer be guaranteed and may not be possible.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, you will be responsible for any applicable reshipping costs.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Ginlerie is not liable for packages that are confirmed as delivered by our carrier but reported as missing or stolen after the fact. If your tracking status shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, we recommend the following:

  • Check around your property, with immediate neighbours, or at your building's reception or mailroom

  • Contact your local postal office or delivery depot directly using your tracking number

  • Reach out to our support team at support@ginlerie.com — we will do our best to assist you in resolving the situation

In cases where our carrier officially confirms that a package has been lost in transit, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.


Damaged Items

If your order arrives in a damaged condition, please contact us at support@ginlerie.com within 48 hours of receiving your delivery. To process your claim efficiently, please include the following in your message:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the damaged item(s) and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

We will review your case promptly and work towards a resolution, whether that involves a replacement or a refund.


Consumer Rights

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy. The rights outlined below are in addition to our standard shipping terms.

United States: Under US FTC guidelines and applicable state law, you have the right to clear disclosure of return, refund, and cancellation terms before purchase. Customers in California and other states may hold additional rights under applicable state consumer protection law.

Canada: Provincial cooling-off periods for distance sales contracts may apply — for example: Ontario (7 calendar days), British Columbia (7 days), and Quebec (10 days). Where applicable provincial law grants rights beyond those stated in this policy, your statutory rights take precedence.

United Kingdom: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. You must notify us of your cancellation and return goods within 14 days of that notification. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
